(3) Development of real-time data transfer system connecting laboratories and research vessels

　Real-time data transfer system is now being developed to connect laboratories and research vessels, using satellite communications. In addition, auto-analysis system is being set for oceanographic data (e.g. sea temperature profiles). Using the recently developed systems, raw data of sea temperature, current velocity and salinity are sent from research vessels to laboratories and the results are successfully sent back to research vessels, immediately after integrating and analyzing the dataset.
